I have been
reading an interesting book, this is the fault in our stars. The topic is love
This is a
novel written by author Jhon Green. The main character is Hazel Grace Lancaster
she is 17 years old , she is a special girl because she have cancer, Hazel
tries to lead a normal life their parents always are encouraging her, she was a
group of support with persons that have a similar problem, she met in the group
a boy his name was Augustus Waters, He was an attractive boy with a good sense
the humor, chivalrous and specially intelligent, they were different in their way of thinking, Augustus Waters
thinks that the life is beautiful and his dream is that he could to be
remembered forever ,whereas Hazel thought that this idea was ridicule, she thought that the life was cruel and painful but they become good friends the passion of both was the
reading ,They shared his favorite book. Hazel’s book was an imperial affliction
this book written by Peter Van Houten and Augusts’ book was totally different ,August
read an imperial affliction but this
book was incomplete he discussed with Hazel about this problem ,together they obsess about the
unsolved ending, August tried contacting Peter Van Houten this was for them to know the end of book ,they
have contact with the author of the
book after they received a invitation to
come to Amsterdam to discuss the ending of the book.
They go to Amsterdam and have beautiful and
romantic adventure, but when they meet Peter Van Houten, it doesn't exactly go
as planned, Peter was a arrogant man and alcoholic and he never answered any of
Hazel’s questions. Hazel was angry and upset but Van Houten's assistant Lidewij
takes her and Augustus out to explore Amsterdam. They visited Anne Frank's
house, where she and Augustus finally kiss. They go back to the hotel room,
where they have sexual relations.
Augustus said
to Hazel that his problem with the cancer was back ,this was very bad to both, When
they return to Indianapolis, it was clear that Augustus's health is
deteriorating and he might not have much time left, Augustus wanted to see like
would be his funeral and he prepared a funeral with Hazel and his best friend,he dies for
causes of cancer,Hezel was surprised for the news.
In the
funeral of Augustus are present their loved in special Hazel ,she was really
sad,she saw that Peter Van Houten was there , She talks to him and realizes
that he wrote An Imperial Affliction because he had a daughter who died of
cancer , she understand the problem of Peter. The novel concludes with Hazel reading Augustus’s words.
Commentary
Personally
for my is a good novel is romantic, there is humor and tragedie, the story is really
interesting every time that you read, you will need read and read more for the mystery of know
more if you like read romantic stories this is a good book
